Education Quality Accreditations Phase 2

Abstract

Educational Quality Accreditation is the activity of evaluation and recognition of the level of educational institutions meeting the quality standards set by the Minister of Education and Training, and International Accreditation Organization. The quality education assurance process consists of four steps: self-assessment, external assessment, appraisal of evaluation results, and recognition of meeting the quality education standards. Each assessment is defined by predetermined standards and criteria. Schools write evaluation reports based on the issued criteria and send them to the evaluation and assessment agency. Then, an assessment team visits the campus for an evaluation and assessment. Currently, schools face difficulties in the self-assessment stage due to its complexity and involvement of multiple parties, which can be time-consuming. The process is typically done on Microsoft Word documents, and the evidence links are mostly hard copies and some soft copies are stored in shared location, making evaluations challenging. The self-assessment report writing is the most critical process in the self-assessment report.
