Abstract:
Today’s hotel business environment has become fiercely competitive. Employees at the Westlake Hotel, however, continue to handle reservations using a notebook, which can result in mistakes and make it difficult for the hotel to maintain growth. Although they look for third-party software like Bookings, Agoda and Traveloka, the cost is very expensive and the revenue is low. Employees manually record reservations and allocate rooms, making it impossible for them to maintain track of their status, including how many are sold, how many are ready for occupancy, and how many of them are currently unavailable. The hotel is dealing with serious problems including overbooking or underbooking, which might result in dissatisfied customers and loss of business opportunities. The hotel's owners have asked for a system that would let guests book directly through the website, choose how long they will stay, the type of room they want, and get additional services, … The system primarily handles online reservations made through the hotel's website. After that, bookings are managed by hotel employees. Therefore, we provide the hotel with a solution known as the Manage booking room system (MBRS). This system would reduce the possibility of human mistake, enabling better services and raising consumer satisfaction. It also makes the booking process easier and makes it simple to collect data for their business. This lessens the amount of time the front desk must spend on administrative tasks and also minimises the risk of overbooking or underbooking
