Abstract:
The World Wide Web has altered how we conduct business, communicate,
and engage with one another due to the Internet's explosive growth.
The World Wide Web, created in 1989 by English scientist Tim BernersLee, has developed into a unique space for information sharing and - more
critically and dangerously - for business transactions. Because of its size,
complexity, and lack of clear boundaries, the internet naturally expands at an
alarming rate. A single website, such as Wikipedia, can host vast knowledge about
anything from a music band to how a gun functions. On a government website,
you can find more private information. There are numerous techniques to attack a
website, many of which have been patched, many of which are still in use, and
many more are still undiscovered. One of these is all it takes to obtain vital
information about online users, halt services, or seize control of the website
without the owner's knowledge.
