Automation Tollbooth System

Abstract

This project is our exertion about development traffic in Viet Nam. Wecalled it is Automation Tollbooth System (ATS). ATS will use smartphone and beacon to connect to system to resolve payment and check vehicle without stopping. Beacon and operational processes of BOT are problems with team when everyone just has little knowledge about this. We are also limited in time andhuman resources to analyze and research all about toll booth. If any memberwithdraw, the project will be affected because it is complex with many functions need to be implemented. In current, VETC also has a service about automatic toll booth. That service will help us study and develop our project more performance. One more problem our team facing is that costing for project is expensive (beacon device, renting server, prototype, etc…). ATS is still not complete with full of functions. For example, we did not resolve issues about business of BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) management. However, within this project, we have built a solution to operate automatic toll booth. The detail of this solution will be described in this document.Lastly, our team must research the way to approach the users and persuade them to accept this solution.
